Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Ms. Kathy Sewell initially attended Temple University with a concentration in the Liberal Arts department in the area of Psychology.  However, Ms. Sewell relocated to the State of Virginia where she acquired a position with Blue Cross Blue Shield- which is now Anthem (a major healthcare insurance benefits company).

Working for others was not her goal, so she decided to go back to school where she received a Bachelors of Business Administration and her MBA from Averett University.  With entrepreneurship in her bones, Ms. Sewell started to consider of starting and owning her own business.  Little did she know that the baking of her family sweet potato pies would assist her with achieving her goals of becoming an entrepreneur.

A creative soul , Ms. Sewell enjoys attending her local church, singing in the choir, playing her clarinet when she gets an opportunity, painting and sketching and doing voice overs when given the opportunity.  Kathy did voice overs for a Non- Profit Radio Station in Philadelphia, Pa.

Last but not least , Kathy enjoys baking and spending her time being a great daughter to her mom and a loving mother to her only son.  She is looking forward to growing this specialty sweet potato pie baking business.
